This miniature CNC machine was built in just a couple of evenings as a proof of concept.
Stepper motors salvaged from dot matrix printers, all thread, steel rod, hardware store bushings and large plastic cutting boards were used.
For such a short build time, it came out pretty decently.

Currently, one axis is binding a bit, and motor mounts need to be constructed.
I borrowed the dremel mount from klunk to get things going.
