When my Presto Scan died, I picked up a Bunn BT-10B thermal brewer. (AKA Darth Coffee)
It doesn't make near the cup that the Presto did, but it does allright. I ordered the flow restricting brew head from Bunn, and it helped things a bit, but I'm still not quite satisfied with it. I have some mods in mind that might correct the situation.

If you like a traditional american cup of coffee, then this brewer is the thing for you. If you like your coffee really strong, it's probably not what you want.
