My coffee maker at home is a Presto Scandinavian Design.
It does a lovely job, great brew temp. The hot plate will cook your coffee.
I leave my pot up on edge a bit and the temp stays just right.
I'm plotting to get a thermal caraffe soonish.

The Leak

The old lid for the carafe leaks. Rather, coffee makes it over the top of the pot.
Presto kindly sent me a replacement when I emailed them.
The difference is the inner ring. It works great.
