My first attempts at roasting.
My west bend popper was $3 at goodwill.
The Deep frying thermometer was $3 at wallyworld
I just added a small hole to the cover.
The first batch was some Ugh! the coffee.
50grams of coffee took around 5 minutes to
bring to second crack


Cooling was done in my collander.
I just swirled them around since it was around 45

Today I use a collander mounted on top of a bucket that has a fan mounted inside.

Next I roasted 100gm of Monkey Blend
More gratuitous roasting
I kept the thermometer above the beans in this popper.
They'd stop moving around if it was inside the bean mass.
This annoyance was corrected with a modified popper.
