Suburban 4wd in Australia have a kit. It's pricey tho.
They reshape the snorkel using a heat gun and have a metal adapter for the airbox.

Proposed solution:

First I'm going to install a TJ Airbox. This will free up the stock airbox location to hold my second optima battery. Then I'm going to Modify a passenger side snorkel to work on the ZJ. I haven't decided which model I'm going to use yet.I may just use a TJ snorkel, we'll see how the TJ airbox mod goes.
